Crude Degummed Soybean Oil : Crude Soybean oil is produced by extracted the natural Soybeans in the oil mill. The concentration of Soybean oil by extraction of Soybeans amount obtained about 20% Crude degummed soybean oil with the following specification. It is mainly used as raw material of refined soybean oil & direct uses for biodiesel making.

Crude Degummed Soybean Oil (CDSBO):

Impurities (insoluble in petroleum ether): Max. 0.10%

Refined Soybean Oil : Crude degummed soybean oil is degummed by washing with water & centrifuged and then remove the fatty acid by adding dilute alkali solution to get the refined soybean oil. Refining can also be achieved by the use of other chemicals, e.g., acetic anhydride and water. The refined oil may be further treated by bleaching to improve color, a process involving application of heat and addition of special bleaching clay which is separated from the oil after combining with the coloring materials. Degree of bleaching depends on end product desired. Deodorization by treatment with steam at elevated temperatures and reduced pressures eliminates trace components which impart undesirable odors and flavors. Soybean oil is the world most widely used edible oil and is commonly called vegetable oil. It also the principal source of omega-3 fatty acids and cholesterol free oil. Soybean oil contains 61% polyunsaturated fat and 24% monounsaturated fat which is very useful for human bodies. Soybean oil is a proven performer in the wide range of applications required by snack food manufacturers, bakeries, food service providers and more. It can be perfectly used by itself for deep-frying (high smoke point), cooking and salad dressings. Soybean oil is also used to produce inedible products such as paints, varnish, resins, and plastics. Soybean oil is the world's largest edible or vegetable oil (About 32%) followed by palm oil and rapeseed oil. World production of soybean oil in 2010 - 11 rose +8.0% yr/yr to a new record high of 41.874 million metric tons. The U.S. accounts for 20.6% of world soybean oil production, while Brazil accounts for 15.8%, and the European Union accounts for 5.8%. U.S. production of soybean oil in 2010-11 fell -3.1% yr/yr to 19.000 billion pounds.

Peroxide Value: 2.0 milliequivalents/Kg

Fat Stability: 8 hours - 3.5 milliequivalents/Kg
Moisture and Volatile Matter: Max. 0.10% (0.05% should be achievable)
Preservatives: GRAS permitted
Marine Oils: Absent
Appearance: Clear and brilliant at 21 - 29°C

Taste/Odor: Bland and free from foreign undesirable odors
